what to expect & faqS
If you are ready to embark on a journey towards restoration, then lets look into what therapy can offer you.
Engaging in therapy with me means embarking on a journey of deep introspection and growth.
I strive to challenge you to explore the layers of your experiences, understanding how they shape your daily life and influence your well-being. Therapy isn't just about addressing immediate concerns; it's about equipping you with the knowledge and insight to navigate life's challenges more effectively.
In addition to providing therapy, I believe in the power of psycho-education. I offer information and resources to help you understand the diagnosis or symptoms you may be experiencing. This knowledge empowers you to make informed decisions about your mental health and treatment journey. Every stage of our therapeutic process is intentional and prioritizes your holistic well-being. I understand that mental health is interconnected with physical health, and I take both aspects into consideration as we work together.
The Process
Right Fit Consultation
Evolve eTherapy offers a preliminary 15-minute consultation as the initial step to help potential clients assess whether their practice aligns with their needs. During this consultation, clients have the opportunity to discuss their concerns and goals with a therapist. This initial interaction serves two main purposes:
1. Assessment of Fit
2. Referral Assistance
Assessment
Conducting a mental health assessment before commencing therapy is a standard and essential practice at Evolve eTherapy. This assessment serves several crucial purposes in the therapeutic process:
Identifying Underlying Issues
Evaluating Symptomatology
Pinpointing Starting Points for Therapy
Psychoeducation
Following the completion of a mental health assessment at Evolve eTherapy, the next step involves providing education regarding the suspected diagnosis and the presenting symptoms. This educational component is crucial in empowering clients to better understand their mental/social/emotional health challenges and the factors contributing to their experiences.
Therapeutic Process
During the therapeutic or treatment phase at Evolve eTherapy, clients engage in a collaborative process aimed at equipping them with the skills necessary to cope with and manage various emotions and responses to different stressors. The therapeutic approach at Evolve eTherapy is characterized by its utilization of a variety of treatment modalities tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each client.
Progress Monitoring
In the ongoing therapeutic phase at Evolve eTherapy, regular reassessment using the same assessment tools employed at the beginning of therapy is a crucial component of the treatment process. This reassessment serves several important purposes:
Evaluation of Progress
Identification of Effectiveness
Adjustment of Treatment Plan
Client-Centered Care
Termination
As clients at Evolve eTherapy make substantial progress and achieve their therapy goals, discussions around termination and exiting therapy naturally become a focal point of the therapeutic process. This phase of therapy marks an important milestone in the client's journey towards healing and growth. The process of transitioning out of therapy typically involves the following key components:
Discussion of Progress and Goals
Exploration of Termination
Transition Planning
Notification of Last Session
Post-Termination Support
Even after therapy sessions have concluded, clients are encouraged to reach out to their therapist if they encounter challenges or require additional support in the future beyond the confines of therapy.
Healing may come with a cost.
While the benefits of healing are undeniable, it's essential to acknowledge that therapy, like any other healthcare service, comes with a cost. Investing in your mental health is a valuable commitment, but it's understandable that financial considerations may come into play.
However, it's crucial to weigh the cost of therapy against the long-term benefits it can provide. The value of improved mental health, enhanced relationships, increased resilience, and overall well-being is immeasurable. Therapy offers an opportunity for personal growth, self-discovery, and transformation that can positively impact every aspect of your life.

Cancellation Policy
Evolve eTherapy has implemented a 24-hour cancellation policy to ensure smooth scheduling and to respect the time of both clients and therapists. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, it is important to notify the therapy provider as soon as possible. Please be aware that failing to provide a notice of cancellation within the specified time frame may result in a late cancellation fee. Clients will be charged a $75 fee if the cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours' notice. To avoid incurring this fee, it is advisable to cancel or reschedule your appointment with Evolve eTherapy at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible. This policy helps maintain the efficiency of scheduling and ensures that appointment slots can be offered to other clients in need of support.

This approach allows us to provide flexible and accessible care to clients, regardless of their location or transportation limitations.

Yes, we do. We are in-network with several insurance providers, making it easier for clients to access mental health services covered by their insurance plans. Additionally, we accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) as forms of payment for therapy services. Our goal is to make therapy accessible and affordable for as many individuals as possible. If you have specific questions about insurance coverage or payment options, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for more information.
As we credential with different insurance companies, the website will be updated to reflect these new additions.

Deciding to start therapy is a personal decision, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. However, you may consider therapy if you are experiencing emotional distress, struggling to cope with life's challenges, feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts or emotions, or seeking support and guidance to navigate difficult situations. You might also feel ready for therapy if you have a desire to explore personal growth, enhance self-awareness, or improve your relationships and overall well-being. Ultimately, readiness for therapy involves recognizing the need for support and being open to the process of self-exploration and healing. If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, reaching out to a therapist for a consultation or exploring your concerns with a trusted friend or family member can help you gain clarity and make an informed decision.
